Maple Sugarin Festival

Westminster Museum Portrays 19th Century Rural Culture

Located on 140 acres in Westminster, Maryland, this historic museum showcases a main house built in 1852, barns, a smokehouse, springhouse, blacksmith shop, craftsmen’s workshops, broom shop, wagon shed, one-room school house, general store, farm animals and other exhibit areas.
Visitors will also enjoy viewing many artifacts, interesting collections, and memorabilia on display. In addition to guided and self-guided tours, there are plenty of special events scheduled throughout the year, including an Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, a Civil War Re-Enactment, Fiddler’s Convention, the Maryland Wine Festival, Holiday Tours and more.
